Join us October 6 to 8, 2025, to explore how municipal leaders, practitioners, and partners can break down barriers and act on climate together. The 2025 Livable Cities Forum will take place at the Halifax Convention Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia, located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi’kmaq people. Enjoy three days of engaging sessions, inspiring real-world examples, study tours, delicious meals, and plenty of opportunities to meaningfully connect with delegates and speakers during networking breaks and events.

Full Forum registration gives delegates access to three (3) days of LCF sessions (including study tours), meals, breaks, and networking events. Single-day registration includes all sessions (including study tours), meals, breaks, and networking events for one (1) full day. Please note that registration rates do not include applicable taxes. 5% GST will automatically be added to your registration and can be reviewed before checkout. Early bird discounts will also automatically be applied, and additional discount codes (e.g., sponsors, speakers) can be entered before checkout.
Available discounts
Early bird rate
Early bird discounts on full Forum registration are available until June 16, 2025. Early bird fees are $599 representing a $260 discount compared to regular fees. This is the largest Early Bird discount we have ever offered!
Single-day rate
Single-day registration allows delegates to attend part of the forum without paying for full registration. Single-day registration includes all sessions, meals, breaks, and networking events for one (1) full day of the Forum. Single-day registrations have a set fee of $389 ($489 after September 8, 2025) and are available in a limited quantity.
ICLEI and BARC member rates
Special full Forum registration fees are available to elected officials and municipal staff of ICLEI or BARC member municipalities. ICLEI/BARC member regular registration fees are $759 ($100 discount, available until September 8, 2025), and late registration fees are $859 ($100 discount, available from September 9).
ICLEI/BARC member registrations are monitored. Please feel free to contact us to see if your municipality is an ICLEI or BARC member.
Group discount
The Early Bird fee, which is available until June 16, 2025, provides the greatest discount. After June 16, special full Forum registration rates are available when three or more people from the same organization register together. Group registrations have a set fee of $659 per registration ($200 discount per registration) and are available until August 20. Note that group discounts cannot be combined with other discounts. Please email lcf@iclei.org to apply for this discount.

What do the registration fees include?
Registration fees give delegates access to all sessions, meals, breaks, and networking events. Please note that registration rates do not include applicable taxes — these will be added to your registration during checkout and will be listed as a separate line item on the payment receipt.
Are discounts available?
We are pleased to offer several discount options to make LCF as accessible as possible while covering the hard costs of hosting the Forum. Special rates are available to ICLEI and BARC members, sponsors, and speakers. Please visit our Registration page or contact us at lcf@iclei.org to learn more.
Will I receive a receipt?
You will receive a confirmation email (which includes a payment receipt) once you register. Please be sure to check your spam folder as the emails may have been sent there. If you have not received these emails within 24 hours, please email us at lcf@iclei.org.
Can I register on the behalf of someone else?
You can fill out the registration form with the information of the person who will be attending the Forum. Note that the confirmation email (which includes the payment receipt) and all future Forum communications will be sent to the email address entered in the registration form.
Are registrations transferable?
Registrations can be transferred any time before October 1, 2025 at 5 pm ET.
Are refunds available?
Cancellations before September 8, 2025 will receive a 50% refund. No refunds are available after September 8, 2025.
