2025 Livable Cities Forum
The 2025 Livable Cities Forum convened local leaders, urban professionals, and on-the-ground practitioners from across Canada to explore how to build net-zero, resilient, and equitable communities. Livable Cities Forum: Acting on Climate Together took place in Halifax, Nova Scotia, located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and traditional lands of the Mi’kmaq people, from October 6 to 8, 2025.
LCF 2025 Highlights Report
LCF 2025 was a great success and a reminder of the importance of collaboration. The event convened local leaders, urban professionals, and on-the-ground practitioners from across Canada to explore how to build net-zero, resilient, equitable, and livable communities through the theme of acting on climate together.

2025 Program & Presentations
The LCF 2025 program put the spotlight on practical ways to act together to reach climate goals, access innovative financing, and address equity priorities. Speakers, facilitators, workshop hosts, and panelists from across the country took part in LCF 2025. Speakers offered insightful perspectives, innovative ideas, and lessons learned on program themes. They also engaged with delegates throughout the Forum during interactive sessions and networking events.
